Swedish House Mafia to perform in Mexico in 2019, Steve Angello confirms

Swedish House Mafia are set to play in Mexico next year, according to Steve Angello.

While we’re well aware by now that the EDM trio are returning properly in 2019, with new music presumed to be in the works and Axwell ^ Ingrosso confirming recently they would be going on hiatus to focus on the reunion, it’s nice to get further confirmation that they will be hitting the live circuit once again.

During his set at Ultra Mexico over the weekend Steve Angello took to the mic to say, “Mexico, I’ll see you next year with Swedish House Mafia.”

Whether or not this specifically relates to Ultra Mexico or to another stage, this is the first gig the act have all but confirmed, having said back in August that they would play Tomorrowland 2019 “by any means necessary”.

According to Oliver Heldens, Swedish House Mafia will be announcing a world tour pretty soon so we’ll just have to wait and see when and where this Mexico gig will be.
