The hard house pioneer's tracks have also been remixed by Eats Everything, Airwolf Paradise, and Hannah Laing
Tidy Trax is commemorating the 25th anniversary of hard house pioneer Tony de Vit's death with a new remix compilation. The iconic DJ and producer's work has been reconfigured by a host of high profile names, including Nicole Moudaber, Patrick Topping and Eats Everything.
The label will drop two singles per week until 4th August, with the 'TDV25 - The Remixes' collection featuring a host of de Vit's most recognisable tracks, including Top 30 single 'Burning Up', 'Bring the Beat Back', 'Don't Ever Stop', and seminal anthem 'The Dawn'. His second release, 1992's 'Higher & Higher' featuring disco diva Norma Lewis, also appears, reworked by Patrick Topping. Other featured artists include Airwolf Paradise, ABSOLUTE, Morgan Seatree and Hanna Laing.

Widely considered one of the most influential DJs and producers in British dance music history, de Vit is often credited as the godfather of UK hard house, taking the hard NRG sounds of London and Birmingham's gay scenes into mainstream venues.
Starting out as a wedding DJ in the mid-1970s, by the late-1990s, at the height of his popularity, he had firmly established himself as a household name, having remixed a slew of Top 40 hit singles in addition to his own output. He died on 2nd July 1998 as a result of bronchial and bone marrow failure having been diagnosed with HIV some time earlier.
Earlier this year, Tidy Trax published an expansive phonebook retelling the label's story, from a backstreet business in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, to a tour de force of club culture.
