Unsound has announced the first wave of artists set to play its 2024 festival in Kraków.

Running from 29th September through 6th October, the festival's 22nd instalment will feature DJ sets from the likes of Kode9, who will present a history of Hyperdub, Actress b2b Skee Mask, Surusinghe b2b TSVI, DJ /rupture, DJ Anderson Do Paraíso and more.

Live performances will come from the likes of Cystallmess, who will be premiering her show with Oxhy, ML Buch, Rafael Toral, Aïsha Devi & Slikback feat. Lord Spikeheart & bela, upsammy & Valentina Magaletti, Chris Watson & Izabela Dłużyk present Białowieża, Piotr Kurek, Zamilska and many more. The event will also feature performances from the likes of jazz artist Anthony Braxton, Detroit noise group Wolf Eyes, Kali Malone, Lankum and experimental instrumentalist Ka Baird—who will be joined by bassist Henry Fraser.

The theme for Unsound 2024 is Noise. Last year’s festival was programmed under the theme "DADA", in reference to the Dada movement founded in 1915 during World War II. It "rejected ideas of progress, logic and rationality in favour of nonsense, outrage and radicalism”.

Unsound Weekly and Long-Weekend passes are now sold out. Unsound Club passes and individual tickets available later in the year with further line-up announcements are expected in the coming months.

Back in 2021, Unsound released a compilation featuring music from SOPHIE, Jlin, VTSS, Slikback, 33EMYBW, and more.
