Sony Pictures’ Brazilian division raises excitement for the iconic movies’ sequel…

Sony Pictures’ Brazilian division has dropped a new trailer for Trainspotting 2, which runs 20 seconds longer than the UK version and reveals several fresh pieces of footage. You can watch it below.

The first look at Trainspotting 2 came in July when a teaser trailer was revealed, before the official UK trailer for Trainspotting 2 landed earlier this month (Thursday 3rd November).

Director Danny Boyle confirmed filming was due to begin on the sequel to the iconic 90s film in September last year, which is loosely based on Irvine Welsh’s Porno. Trainspotting 2 also reunites original cast members Ewan McGregor (Renton), Ewen Bremner (Spud), Jonny Lee Miller (Sick Boy) and Robert Carlyle (Begbie).

It was originally planned to hit cinemas to mark the 20th anniversary of the original film this year, but will now be released in UK cinemas on Friday 27th January.
