Roland is offering one lucky fan the chance to score a Roland DJ-202 controller as part of our DJ Mag Panels event, streaming live today (Tuesday 21st November) from Berlin.
Featuring DJ/producer BEC and DJ Mag's tech editor Mick Wilson, the panel will walk fans through the features of the Roland DJ-202 and the Roland DJ-505 controllers, with assistance from Roland product manager Nick de Friez.
To win, simply watch the panel via the DJ Mag Facebook page at 4PM today and leave a comment or question on the stream. The winner will be chosen after the stream has ended and will be contacted via Facebook.
Hailing from East Sussex but now living in Berlin, Rebecca Godfrey — aka BEC — has been DJing professionally since 2014. She now finds herself touring globally thanks to her affiliation with Pan-Pot’s Second State imprint, on which she debuted in 2016 with ‘Relentless EP’.
Two compilations and a second EP have since followed, but perhaps best was this year’s break from the label — her ‘Catch22 EP’ — which displays splashes of melody but also a previously unheard trance edge.
The breakdowns are way more understated on November’s return to Second State, the ‘Law Of Attraction’ three-tracker, however: darker, more linear yet still imaginative, her work offers peak-time momentum with plenty of maturity.
Tune into DJ Mag Panels presents BEC with Roland at 4PM today (Tuesday 21st November) via the DJ Mag Facebook page.
