Yaeji has just released a new single called 'easy breezy' on XL Recordings. Watch the music video below.

This is the first new music from the New York artist since her debut album, 'With A Hammer', dropped in April via XL. In the nostalgic new track, Yaeji references past lyrics, "weaving a thread through my past releases (and my past selves)", she said in a press statement, with a sound that pulls from her formative childhood memories listening to UKG, house and Brazilian music.

"Sonically, the song connects a thread between me now and me back in middle school — when I discovered bossa nova, drum and bass, and house through Korean and Japanese pop electronica", she said. "'easy breezy' is a thread, a tribute, a recollection of memories, and an encouraging push for us to bring forth change with courage and laughter. We hold the power in our hands, and we should never doubt that. Change is now."

Yaeji kicks off her 'With A Hammer' UK and European tour tonight at Amsterdam venue Melkweg, with shows in Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Paris, Prague and more to follow through 18th November.

Yaeji's other full-length release is the 'WHAT WE DREW 우리가 그려왔던' mixtape on XL Recordings. In 2021, she collaborated with WEiRDCORE and DiAN for a PAC-MAN inspired music video
