Monster Energy Up & Up have announced their first college music festival of the year...with the final locations to be decided by an online competition.
50 schools and colleges across the United States are preparing to compete to bring Monster Energy Up & Up Spring Madness Festival to their city.
Eight winning colleges get to host a private, covid-compliant event with headliners picked from Oliver Heldens, Kaskade, Tchami or Subtronics, alongside some of the USA's best college talent.
Oliver Heldens has shared a new single, ‘Never Look Back’, with vocalist Syd Silvair.

Oliver Heldens has revealed details of his forthcoming debut album.
Speaking to Mexico City radio station Beat 100.9 FM, the Dutch DJ, producer and label boss suggested that the LP will drop later this year at the earliest.
Heldens said, "Since 2018, I’ve been doing less shows than usual. Before 2018, I did like 150 shows per year and now I do around 110 per year. So, I made a lot more new music. I am definitely thinking about my album. I already have too many songs that I want to release."
There's a festival taking place in a 180-year-old industrial mine this summer.
Beats For Love will run from 3rd to 6th July at Industrial Areal Dolní Vítkovice, in Ostrava, eastern Czech Republic — the facility closed in 1998.

What were your first experiences of Ibiza like?
“The first time I came to the island was in the summer of 2014. I played at venues like Ushuaïa, Pacha and Amnesia and I had a great experience at those places! I like that the crowds are such a mix of different nationalities. They also have such great energy and appreciation for the music. It’s hard to find anything else like it in the world!”
Tomorrowland’s annual stream has now gone live for its weekend one celebrations, with the mega festival set to stream music from Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Hardwell, Black Coffee and many more.
The festival, which is based in Boom, Belgium, is set to broadcast across four channels for three consecutive days this weekend (20th to 22nd July), as well as next weekend (27th to 29th July).
Swedish House Mafia are set to announce a world tour in 2019, according to Oliver Heldens.
The Dutch DJ/producer let the news slip in his new Heldeep radio show whilst announcing Axwell Λ Ingrosso track ‘Together’.
“So, Swedish House Mafia have now officially reformed, and are announcing a World Tour in 2019,” he said.
“This week’s Heldeep classic was made in 2007 by two thirds of Swedish House Mafia. This is Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso with ‘Together’.”
Oliver Heldens is back with a new track and different direction to his usual bass-fueled output.
'What The Funk' sees Heldens explore a fresh new direction that blends pop, disco and house with a ‘90s twist.
The track got its premiere in a mobile game called BeatFever, continuing Heldens’ affinity with the video game world, where he's a regular on streaming service, Twitch.
The video for the track, according to the press release, will be "a user-generated piece featuring submissions sent in from his fans on social media."
