PIONEER UDATE THEIR REKORDBOX SOFTWARE

New Features and FX Plus Pack for rekordbox dj

Pioneer DJ have just updated their rekordbox software bringing with it a host of new features.

Version 4.2.1 brings a new way of easily recording analogue sound sources so DJs can effortlessly manage digital and analogue music in one library. Using its audio analysis technology, rekordbox detects the silence between tracks and creates a separate file in your library for each one, just press play and record a whole album to individual tracks without resetting the recording in between songs. And thanks to the new normalise function, the volume of recorded tracks is automatically standardised.

There is also a new Matching feature, where DJs can audition tracks in rekordbox and mark the ones that mix well together, then when playing on certain multiplayers (CDJ-TOUR1, CDJ–2000NXS2), choose to browse the tracks that you’ve matched with the track that’s currently playing (firmware update required).

And it doesn’t stop here as there is a new Plus Pack that expands the capabilities of rekordbox dj further. The new RMX EFFECTS Plus Pack take the Scene FX from Pioneer DJ’s RMX effects units and brings it into the rekordbox dj software offering new ways to get busy in the mix.
