DJ Healer ‘Planet Lonely Mix’ (2018)
“OK, so this one is technically more a mix than it is an album, but regardless, it’s absolutely perfect for being in Ibiza. Full of brilliant unreleased material, DJ Healer is an alias of Traumprinz from the Giegling crew. It’s full of uplifting vibes throughout and is the perfect accompaniment to a day exploring the beaches and hills of Ibiza. I read online before that someone called this mix ‘an alternate reality where Burial goes to Ibiza’, and I think that sums it up pretty well. Highly recommended!”
The Other People Place ‘Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café’ (2017)
“What more can I say about this one? Originally released in the early ’00s through Warp, this one was repressed last year, and needless to say I grabbed a copy ASAP. The Other People Place is a project by James Stinson, who’s best known for his work with Drexciya. An absolute classic and a release that’s timeless and perfect for any occasion, not just being in Ibiza.”
