Premiere: Ani Klang ‘Drum Dork’

With a mix of hardcore techno, breaks, gabber and more, Ani Klang delivers the audio equivalent of stepping into a rage room and smashing up everything in sight

Ani Klang will release a new EP, ‘Indignant’, this week via French label Tripalium Corp. Listen to ‘Drum Dork’ below.

Following her appearance on Turin’s early reflex last year with the Jersey club-inspired slammer, ‘Power Of 100’, the Oakland-based producer and DJ delivers the audio equivalent of stepping into a rage room and smashing everything in sight. Across six tracks, Klang flings elements of hardcore techno, breakbeat, gabber and d&b into a blender with a splash of heavy metal to create a fast n’ furious suite of pure fury.

Bristol’s Grove contributes a typically swaggering guest vocal to ‘Bullseye’, and moments of melodic catharsis do break through the pummelling drums and sub bass here and there. Plug in and let rip.

‘Indignant’ will be released on 19th June. You’ll be able to buy it here.
