Premiere: Pattn ‘The Way’
fabric regular Pattn debuts on Live At Robert Johnson with a double helping of deep house meets indie dance bliss
Pattn will release a new two-tracker, ‘The Way’, later this week on Live At Robert Johnson. Have an exclusive first listen to the title track below.
With sets under his belt at hallowed clubs like fabric, FOLD, Hï Ibiza and Sisyphos, the London-based DJ and producer hops back on the production bus with his first release of 2024. Tapping into the same dizzying deep house/breaks meets indie dance mode as his sets, as well as previous releases for Automatik and fabric Originals, Pattn delivers a double helping of sensual dancefloor bliss.
Opener ‘Telepathy’ is a dark, grooving beast, with decadent synth refrains and new wave-esque vocals from Pattn himself, whilst title track ‘The Way’ nods to the fabric regular’s house and disco upbringing, with ravey stabs, strings and horns galore.
The two-tracker follows Pattn’s contributions to Automatik’s ‘Interstellar’ compilation, released last September, and fabric Records SELECTS III’s Love Hertz compilation, as well as his collaborative debut EP with Joy Tyson, ‘Another Spin’, for Labyrinth Records.
