Calvin Harris donates Omnia booking fee to victims of Las Vegas shooting

The Scottish DJ and producer announced the contribution on Instagram...

Calvin Harris has donated his booking fee for nightclub Omnia to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

In a post on Instagram, he explained he’d be making the donation “in the hope it will help rebuild the lives of the victims’ families and those injured”. You can read the post in full below.

A regular in Vegas, Harris has been a resident at clubs Hakkasan, Wet Republic and Omnia and is listed as the highest paid DJ in the world, meaning the donation is likely to be significant.

It comes after Diplo donated $100,000 to the same fund and Las Vegas authorities recognised the challenges of securing open-air events in the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in US history two weeks ago.
