DJ Bone’s entire Subject Detroit catalogue hits streaming services

Further unreleased material by the techno mainstay is expected soon

DJ Bone's Subject Detroit back catalogue has joined streaming platforms for the first time.

On Friday, July 1st, the legendary Detroit-born, Amsterdam-based techno DJ and producer's solo releases on the label, including Subject Detroit Digital, were made available to stream on the likes of Spotify, Apple Music and elsewhere. Until then, only a selection of Bone's releases were available for purchase via Bandcamp, Beatport, Juno Download and Subject Detroit's webstore.

As well as joining streaming services, the move also sees the entirety of DJ Bone's solo releases - and releases by fellow Detroit producers DJ Lhoie, Mister X and Aleckxis - receiving full digital distribution via Subject Detroit's new distribution and label management partnership with Planisphere Ltd. and The Orchard.

With further digital releases from other Subject Detroit artists, and additional previously unreleased material by DJ Bone set to be released digitally soon, Juno will continue to represent Subject Detroit for global physical distribution. A series of remastered reissues are planned in the coming months, with all profits set to be donated to DJ Bone & Ahnne Araza's Homeless Homies charity.

Currently on a b2b tour with Goldie, DJ Bone plays the latter's fabric weekender later this month.
