Loopmasters launch Loopcloud 3.0

The latest version of the cloud-based sample plug-in lets you add your own samples…

Loopmasters have launched Loopcloud 3.0, a new version of their cloud-based sample service that allows users to audition and sync samples from their vast collection of packs. The latest version adds the ability for producers and musicians to add their own sounds to the service, where the samples will be automatically analysed for BPM, key, content-type and instrument.

They can then be used alongside the millions of other samples already on offer from Loopcloud – they'll also be automatically time-stretched and pitch-shifted to the current project's BPM and key. Other new additions include CPU usage metering and more detailed tagging of samples. The service is free to subscribe to – you can do that here. Check out what else was added in Loopcloud 2.0 here and how the service works here.
