NTS opens applications for 2020 artist development programme, Work In Progress

NTS has opened applications for its 2020 artist development programme, Work In Progress. 

The online radio giant, which currently operates out of London and Manchester, has secured funding from a number of partners including Arts Council England and Carhartt WIP, to run the project. The aim is to help six artists of different backgrounds and musical styles take the next step in their careers. 

Successful applicants will receive kit (from brands like Audio Technica, Native Instruments and Pioneer DJ), access to studios (Ten 87 Studios, Real World Studios and NTS Radio Studios), and paid performance opportunities. They will also be offered guest slots on NTS Radio, assistance with press photography and promotion, in addition to ongoing support and fresh new wares from Carhartt. 

The deadline for submissions is 23:59 on Friday 1st November 2019. This year's alumni include Aya/LOFT, Contour, Crystallmess, Lucinda Chau— who performed at this year's Red Bull Music Festival in London— and one of our favourite names to watch right now, re:ni, who now has her own regular NTS Show alongside Laksa.
