An event to celebrate the 1st birthday of the hi-fi music bar Jumbi has been announced.
Jumbi, which opened in Peckham, South East London last summer, is owned by Rhythm Section founder Bradley Zero and Nathanael Williams, one-half of producer duo The Colours That Rise. An extended day party for the venue is set to take place at its premises as well as the nearby Unit 08 on Saturday, 29th July.
Jumbi is located next to the Copeland Park complex and Unit 08 is a warehouse within the complex.
The sound bar, which aims to highlight music and food from Zero and Williams' Afro-Caribbean heritage, was recently granted a 2AM license following a public petition.
