Squarepusher drops video for 'Terminal Slam': Watch

The trippy visuals are accompanied by the frenzied track from Squarepusher's 'Be Up A Hello'

Squarepusher has shared a visual accompaniment for 'Terminal Slam', the latest single from his new album on Warp, 'Be Up A Hello

Filmed at Tokyo's commercial hub, Shibuya crossing, the music video visualises the world through a pair of mind-altering goggles, which glitch-out the advertisements dominating the surroundings.

The visuals are accompanied by an intense, warped-out electro soundtrack, a sound that will familiar to anyone who has followed Squarepusher's game changing career.

Director Daito Manabe has explained the concept of the video was to "implement the near future, using modern technology."

"In the near future,” he says “It would be exciting to rewrite ads as freely as is depicted in this video while wearing such a device and wandering around the city."

'Be Up A Hello' is out now. It will be the first album from Squarepusher, aka Tom Jenkinson since 'Damogen Furies' in 2015.
