Netflix has shared the first trailer for its forthcoming documentary Ladies First: A Story Of Women In Hip-Hop. Watch it below.
The film features interviews with a number of key women in the history and development of the music genre, such as Queen Latifah, Roxanne Shanté, Remy Ma and Sha-Rock. There are also contributions from more recent figures in the sound, including Tierra Whack and Kash Doll.
The series is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on 9th August. You can watch the trailer below.
