Wide Awake festival has announced new names for its fourth edition, taking place next May at London’s Brockwell Park.

Promising to be an event for “music fans looking for something different”, the one-day festival has become renowned for its diverse line-up’s spanning electronic music, post-punk, pop and more.

The new bill announcements include Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers, DJs Ben UFO and Helena Hauff, and Alice Glass.

Also heading to Brixton next summer will be New York-based DJ, producer, vocalist and instrumentalist Eartheater, alongside the likes of English post-punk band Squid and Glasgow DJ and production duo, Optimo (Espacio). Other recent additions include Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Crumb, David Holmes, Al Lover, Decius, and Etran de L’Aïr.

The new acts join the recently announced headliner King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, who are set to perform on the main stage hosted by US radio station KEXP.

Wide Awake’s 2024 line-up will once again host an equal gender split, as well as furthering the festival’s ‘Positive Policy’, a sustainability plan that was set up to change the way live music events affect the planet.
