The BPM Festival has issued a statement on Facebook stating that its events in Brazil are postponed “until further notice”. You can see the full statement below.
The planned event in Portugal in September is still said to be going ahead.
The BPM Festival was set to celebrate its 10th anniversary at its Brazilian event between Friday 28th April and Monday 1st May, in the beach resort towns of Itajaí and Balneário Camboriú.

October will see Canadian DJ and Wagon Repair boss Mathew Johnson headline, before Justin Martin from DirtyBird spins on the 15th. Melancholic techno master Francesco Tristano will pop in on the 17th, Belgian house man Kolombo on the 22nd, Dial boss and Smallville associate Lawrence on the 24th, with Vera and then AndHim set to close out the month on the 30th.
