Pioneer DJ has unveiled a new trio of affordable desktop speakers.
Expanding on the brand's DM Series, the three new models – DM-40D (£149), DM-40D-BT (£169), and the DM-50D-BT (£229) – can be flipped between DJ or production mode and are equipped with RCA and mini-jack terminals. The BT models add Bluetooth connectivity.
The DM Series speakers deliver "balanced, punchy bass sound and they can pump out extra power thanks to the new Class D amplifier and four-inch woofer in each unit," says Pioneer DJ.
All models are available in black or white and sold in pairs. These new models follow the DM-50D, which was released last year. For more info visit the Pioneer DJ site.
Earlier this year, Pioneer DJ launched a new pair of powerful, lightweight DJ headphones, the HDJ-CX, which Pioneer say have passed the “US Military Standard MIL-STD-810H Shock test”.
Serato DJ Pro also recently added support for Pioneer DJ’s popular all-in-one unit, the XDJ-RX3.
