Berlin Atonal drops new compilation featuring dBridge, Laurel Halo, Nkisi, more
Berlin Atonal has revived its label to release a new compilation.
After becoming one of the many global events cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, Berlin's Atonal festival announced that, in place of this year's events, they would be releasing a five-part compilation, which is available digitally now, and will be released on vinyl in January 2021.

Laurel Halo’s ‘Possessed’ score to get official release
Laurel Halo's debut film score will get an official vinyl release, via The Vinyl Factory, dropping Friday 10th April.
'Possessed' is a film inspired by a 2018 essay of the same name. The film is by Metahaven and Rob Schroder, and produced by Dutch Mountain Film.

Hyperdub has teamed up with TV network Adult Swim for a new 15th anniversary compilation titled 'HyperSwim'.
19 artists that currently make up part of Hyperdub's label roster feature on the release, including Burial, Dean Blunt, Fatima Al Qadiri, Laurel Halo, Lee Gamble, Cooly G, DJ Haram, and label head Kode9.
HyperSwim will initially be available for streaming in full via Adult Swim only this Friday, November 22nd, with a wider release set to follow across all digital platforms a day later on Saturday, November 23rd.
PAN to release debut album from Beatrice Dillon, ‘Workaround’, shares single: Listen
Beatrice Dillon is set to release her debut album via PAN early next year.
Titled 'Workaround', Dillon produced the album in studios between London, Berlin and New York. Across the record's 14 tracks, Dillon draws on the UK club music and Afro-Caribbean sounds that frequently feature in her DJ sets.
The album takes in samples, guest vocals and other contributions from the likes of Laurel Halo, Batu, Untold, UK bhangra artist and tabla player Kuljit Bhamra, cellist Lucy Railton and Jonny Lam, guitarist of the Pharoah Sanders Band, amongst others.

Laurel Halo curates MODE event series 2019
Laurel Halo has invited the likes of DJ Bone, GAS and DEBONAIR to play in London this September and October as part of the 2019 edition of event series MODE.
Halo has curated the full programme for 2019, following on from Ryuichi Sakamoto who took on the role last year. The series of events will take place across a number of venues around the UK capital, and will also take in sets from Beatrice Dillon, Parris, Julia Holter, Funkineven and Rashad Becker.
Laurel Halo, Nkisi, Varg, more remix LYZZA’s ‘IMPOSTER’ on new EP
Laurel Halo, Varg, Nkisi, BADSISTA and Wilson Phoenix will feature on LYZZA’s five-track ‘IMPOSTER’ remix EP.
The EP first dropped in 2018, and deals with themes of "power, inclusion, and anxiety."
The London-based producer, who originally hails from Brazil, will self-release the EP on August 23rd via Bandcamp. Her 2017 debut EP ‘Powerplay’ was released via Symbols Recordings.
