Having both released albums on Dorchester label Bytes in 2019, GLOK – aka Andy Bell of shoegaze pioneers RIDE – and Franz Kirmann have remixed one another on a new EP.

On the B-side, Kirmann delivers a lush balearic ambient rework of GLOK’s ‘Kolokol’, which we premiered last year.

First up though, is GLOK’s remix of the towering ambient closer to Kirmann’s ‘Madrapour’ album. Stretching his remix out over 10 minutes, GLOK adds a crisp, steady drum pulse and billowing plumes of distortion and bass to the mix, making for dizzying, colourful trip. Check it out below.

You'll be able to grab Glok and Kirmann's remix EP from Bytes' Bandcamp from 14th February.
