Compilation in aid of Palestine Children's Relief Fund released via Cease 2 Exist

Stockholm-based label Cease 2 Exist has released a charity compilation in aid of Palestinian children affected by the current humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Spanning 11 tracks, all proceeds from the release of 'C2E - Emergency For Gaza' will be donated to Palestine Children's Relief Fund. "PCRF ensure humanitarian aid & medical care to the children of Palestine," Cease 2 Exist said in a note shared via the label's Bandcamp page.

The compilation takes in new tracks by the likes of Varg2™, Anthony Linell, Via App, Van Boom and Estoc, among others. Jordanian producer Toumba – who released a selection of tracks in aid of Medical Aid for Palestine last week – also contributes a track to this comp.

You can check out the full release, and purchase it to support Palestine Children's Relief Fund, here.

Another compilation, curated by UK DJ and producer Outsider titled 'From The River To The Sea' was released last week in aid of Palestine Children's Relief Fund and Medical Aid for Palestinians.

An open letter has also been shared online calling on figures from the world of electronic music to put their voice behind a condemnation of the Israeli Government's current assault on Gaza, and the restriction of food, water, fuel and medical supplies getting into the besieged territory.

Furthermore, a wider open letter has been shared online calling on artists and cultural workers across the UK to support an Artists For Palestine UK movement and demand “an immediate ceasefire and the opening of Gaza’s crossings to allow humanitarian aid to enter unhindered”

The current escalation of violence in the Gaza strip comes in the wake of a string of Hamas' attacks on Israel, which took place on 7th October, including one on the psytrance festival Supernova, which resulted in the deaths of over 260 people, with more still reported missing or abducted.

Gaza has been under an Israeli-controlled blockade since 2007. Since 7th October, the region has been under “a complete siege”, which has prevented the delivery of electricity, food, water and fuel to its 2.3 million citizens. The Israeli military responded to Hamas' attacks with an "unrelenting" bombing campaign, which has resulted in over 5,700 Palestinians being killed. More than 1,400 Israelis have been killed.
