FLY Open Air has announced the first phase of its 2023 line-up ahead of the festival’s return to Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens between the 16th and 17th September.

Festival residents LF System will be returning to home soil for the Saturday night closing slot, while Dutch heavyweight Chris Stussy and Berlin’s mysterious HorsegiirL will both make their Scottish festival debut across the weekend. Fresh off the release of her third ‘Big Saldo’s Chunkers’ EP, Sally C joins the bill alongside DJ Boring, Belfast selector Mark Blair, Shanti Celeste, Brooklyn-based DJ X-COAST, Hayley Zalassi, and DISCO TITS.

As one of “Scotland’s largest youth music brands”, FLY will also welcome a string of local stars to Princes Street Gardens including Christian Rogers, Céleste, Dominique, OUTSET, GROOVE.fm & SOLUS.

Tom Ketley, founder of Watchtower Group (formerly FLY Events), told Edinburgh Live: “We are very proud to call Princes Street Gardens the home of FLY Open Air Festival this September... We feel immensely proud to be able to deliver a concert for young people in such an amazing location.”

The event will follow the success of FLY’s 10th Edition festival at Hopetoun House in May, which saw DJ Mag team up to offer two aspiring DJs the chance to play a main stage set. Watch Ben Hemsley close the sister event here
