Ibiza’s Club Chinois announces Ida Engberg, Franky Wah, Anané & Louie Vega, more for 2023 summer residencies

The club returns for a second season with a surplus of international residencies and guests

Club Chinois has announced the programme for its 2023 season featuring seven residencies. The club, located in Marina Botafoch, Ibiza, will return for its second season since opening last June, bringing a roster of international talent and “extravagant immersive” themes.

Returning after her 2022 residency, Swedish techno DJ, Ida Engberg will present MYSTIK every Tuesday until 26th September, with guests including Chris Liebing, Kolsch, Richy Ahmed, Sasha, Sven Väth, and Dubfire.

Anané and Louie Vega are set to headline The Ritual, where every Wednesday from 7th June to 11th October, the acclaimed collaborators will bring together old-school vocal house with close friends including Moodymann, Cassy, David Morales, and Joseph Capriati.

On Thursdays, until 5th October, NiiWA will present Sounds of Silk, the latest project from the artistic movement Ritual Collective which embodies the sounds of underground Berlin with a theatrical approach, where performances take place as “living pieces of art.”

Pablo Fierro will also return for his second season at Club Chinois with WE’RE HERE. Every Friday until 29th September, the Canarian DJ and producer will combine an eclectic mix of afro and latin house rhythms alongside Dennis Ferrer, Sebastien Leger, Caiiro, Angelos and more.

Every Saturday, from 3rd June to 28th October, Trip will take over Club Chinois, featuring a wealth of talent from the underground techno scene including Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, and Luciano. While Franky Wah will take control of Sundays with SHÈN from 18th June to 1st October, combining Ancient China-inspired visuals and décor with contemporary artists including Denis Hornet, Hot Since 82, Joris Voorn, Pete Tong, Themba, Miss Monique, and Made by Pete.

Ibizan brand La Troya has also returned to Club Chinois every Monday until 9th October with one of the island’s most popular LGBTQ+ parties and Oscar Colorado in front of the booth.
