Swedish House Mafia have shared a remix of their latest single, ‘Ray Of Solar’, from Tiësto. Check it out below.
The Dutch producer’s edit follows remixes from Mau P, Anfisa Letyago, and Alex Wann & Sasson released earlier this summer, and rounds out the ‘Ray Of Solar’ remix suite. Initially released in August via Republic Records, ‘Ray Of Solar’ marks the second single from Swedish House Mafia’s forthcoming album.
The group shared news of the remix via their social media streams, writing: “Old friends that reunite! Honoured to have our brother @tiesto breathe more life into “Ray Of Solar’.”
Tiësto’s edit finds the producer returning to his trance roots as he builds on the melodies and bumps up the BPM of the original track. This summer, the Musical Freedom label head returned to Ibiza for his first residency on the island in a decade, taking over Tuesdays at Ushuaïa from 4th July through to 29th August.
Swedish House Mafia have also had a busy summer, revealing an accompanying music video for ‘Ray of Solar’, directed by the band’s creative director Alexander Wessley, and releasing a 22-track live album from the ‘Paradise Again’ tour.
The trio also have a string of remaining shows for 2023, including dates in Mexico City, Lima, Bogota, Sao Paolo, and Pretoria. More information and tickets are available here.
