Tiësto will be Super Bowl's first-ever in-game DJ

Tiësto has been revealed as the Super Bowl's first-ever in-game DJ.

The trance artist will be part of Super Bowl LVIII on 11th February, where he will DJ during the warm-up and while fans settle into Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. He will then remain in place to play further during featured breaks within the game.

Portions of Tiësto's set at the NFL sporting event will be featured on the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast on CBS in the US, as well as on the DJ's own social channels.

"I'm excited to be a part of the Super Bowl LVIII," said Tiësto. "And it's even more incredible that it's in my favourite place – Las Vegas. Thank you to the NFL for having me. I cannot wait to party with you all at the big game!"

Tim Tubito, from the NFL, added: "Each year, we look to elevate the in-stadium experience for our fans, and with our first Super Bowl in Las Vegas, it seems only fitting to embrace the legacy of iconic DJs in this city by having Tiësto bring his signature style to our biggest event.

"As one of the most influential DJ/producers who helped define the culture of Las Vegas and electronic music around the world, Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create an unforgettable gameday experience for our fans, players and viewers everywhere."

Tiësto is the fifth DJ to be invited to play pre-game at the Super Bowl, following on from DJ Khaled, D-Nice, Zedd and DJ Snake. He's the first to be invited to play through the full game, however.

This year's Halftime Show will be headlined by Usher.

Tiësto was voted No.23 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for 2023.

Last October, he shared a trance remix of Swedish House Mafia's single 'Ray Of Solar'.
