London-via-Birmingham's Barely Legal is a mainstay of the UK scene. An artist who has been at the forefront of the underground bass world for almost a decade, the DJ and label owner has spent 2019 playing gigs everywhere from Munich to Ibiza, and performed at Croatia’s Hideout, Creamfields, and Snowbombing. As the year winds down, Barely Legal is finishing up her Pretty Weird tour, a label affiliated party series, which has been touring the country since August.
Berlin Club Commission is hosting a European Club Night on the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Wall.

Techno artists aren’t generally known as early risers, but Johanna Knutsson doesn’t conform to the usual late-night stereotypes. During the week, she’s in bed by 10:30pm and up at 6am. “My boyfriend works as a bike messenger, so his alarm rings at six anyways,” she says. Of course, the demands of her profession do require plenty of sleepless nights when the weekend rolls around, but otherwise, the Swedish-born, Berlin-based producer has one focus: the studio. “I see my studio as work time,” says Knutsson.
