Bert Libeert, AKA B1980, is one-half of Belgian rock band Goose, and also a live techno artist who uses just two synths and a drum machine to create refined, otherworldly electronics.
His first release of 2020, B1980's new EP will land via French label Zone Records, and sees the artist join the likes of Arnaud Rebotini, Gesaffelstein, and Maelstrom on the imprint.
Black N Mild, a mainstay of New Orleans bounce community and longtime DJ, has passed away at age 44. The exact cause hasn’t been reported, but the DJ and radio personality, born Oliver Stokes Jr., had recently tested positive for the virus responsible for COVID-19 and had spoken of a high fever and pneumonia-like symptoms.

The UK Arts Council has announced a £160 million emergency fund for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The fund will directly help various strands of the arts in England. As well as £90m being made available for National Portfolio Organisations and £50m for organisations outside of the National Portfolio, £20 is available for individuals, namely artists, creative practitioners and freelancers.
