FL Studio has announced a handful of Black Friday deals with up to 25% off the popular DAW.

The FL Studio Producer Edition — aka the "all-in-one virtual studio" music production software, which comes with a comprehensive set of professional tools — is discounted from €199 to €149 and offers you lifetime free updates.

There is also the chance to grab a discount on the ALL Plugins Edition of FL Studio, which comes with all native plugins including Gross Beat, Harmless, Harmor, Toxic Biohazard, and Transient Processor. The Black Friday bonus also includes '90s synth UVI Digital Synsations, VINAI’s XTT, Pumper 3, distortion unit FireCharger, and the MVibratoMB. This edition is discounted from €499 to €399, including lifetime free updates.

Head to the FL Studio shop to pick up the deals here. The discounts run until Wednesday, 30th November.

Ableton has also announced a 20% Black Friday deal on Live 11, Push, and Packs. Live 11, will be available at the reduced price of €63 for the Intro version, while Live 11 Standard and Live 11 Suite are available for €279 and €479, respectively.

Earlier this year, Novation introduced its new controller range called the FLKey. Designed to work specifically with FL Studio, the FLKey is similar in design to the popular LaunchKey range that’s been popular for Ableton users for a few years.

In the second episode of our Beat From Scratch series, rap producer R14 makes a melodic UK drill beat from scratch in FL Studio at Signature Studios in London. Using a sample from Struis, the London producer — who has worked with artists including Unknown T, Digga D, CB, Potter Payper, M24 and more — takes us through his MIDI programming, including drums and 808s programming.
