LP Giobbi has released a new single, ‘Giodisco’, via Defected. Listen to the track below.

The high-energy cut, out today (30th June), follows the release of her debut album, ‘Light Places’, on Ninja Tune earlier this year. Described as “a comprehensive declaration to who LP Giobbi is as an artist”, the album offered an introduction to the US producer’s modern, multi-genre-influence house sound, which she continues to build upon with this new disco-based single.

In the past 12 months, LP Giobbi has dropped remixes of Pete Tong’s ‘Free (Do What U Want)’ and Röyksopp's ‘Feel It’, alongside a  remix album of Jerry Garcia’s ‘Garcia’. Her single, 'Can’t Let You Go', featuring Little Jet, is also set to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming F1 23 video game, alongside tracks by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, The Chemical Brothers, Romy & Fred again.., and Flume.

In recent years LP Giobbi has used her growing status to power her FEMME HOUSE non-profit, creating opportunities for underrepresented creatives in the technical and behind the scenes areas of music. Earlier this year, LP Giobbi also played at DJ Mag’s Miami Music Week pool party at Sagamore South Beach.

‘Giodisco’ is out now via Defected Records. Listen to the single below.
