Helena Hauff announces 'fabric presents' mix with new track, ‘Turn Your Sights Inward’: Listen
The mix closes with an Autechre remix that'll be available digitally for the first time ever in September
fabric had tapped Helena Hauff for the next instalment in its 'fabric presents' mix series. Listen to her new track 'Turn Your Sights Inward' below.
The 19-track mix, out 22nd September, weaves electro, breakbeat and techno over 77 minutes. The tracklist features classic hits from the likes of Radioactive Man and unreleased exclusives, such as Magda Rot's 'Alter Simus'. Rot describes that track as, "The result of finding solace in times of isolation, after months without stepping on a dance floor."
Hauff also includes music by Nite Fleit, FJAAK & Tobi Neuman, IMOGEN, Clarence G, Slam & Optic Nerve, YTP and more. The mix closes out with an Autechre remix of D-Breeze's 'Crazy For Love' which has never before been released digitally.
Hauff previously teamed up with fabric for the 'Living With Ladybirds' EP on its Originals imprint, released in November last year. Since then, fabric Originals has released a Burial and Kode9 EP and 'SELECTS III' compilation.
Hauff follows up Saoirse's entry in the 'fabric presents' mix series. Released mid-July, it featured a new track by friend and collaborator Shanti Celeste called 'Fluffy'.
A new book celebrating fabric's 25th anniversary will be published next year.
